Update loader is not working correctly

Issue Details

Steps to reproduce:

Go to "check updates" on the main tab -> check for updates -> update application version

You see first the loader fully executed and out over the edges of the snack, then you see the loader of the actual download

Expected Behavior

The update loader shows the actual download and works correctly

Actual Behavior

The update loader has incorrect behavior
