Whats App Backup and Restore

Whatsapp backup and restore will help you create multiple backups of whatsApp and restore them on your own time

Installation

Use the package manager nodejs to install whatsapp-backup-and-restore .

$ npm i whatsapp-backup-and-restore -g

Usage

Just run wabr in the terminal to begin

$ wabr

before taking a backup there are a few prerequisites :

0. Download and install [nodejs] (https://nodejs.org/en/)

1. Go to settings click on about phone

2. click on build number 7 times

a snack notification should popup stating - 'No need, you are already a developer

3. go to developer options

4. Turn on USB debugging.

5. Connect your device
6. Check Always allow from this computer and click on allow

now open whatsApp

7. Open whatsapp menu

8. Open whatsapp settings

9. click on chat button

10. click on Backup to Google Drive
11. select 'Never'
12. Click on the Green Backup Button

Just run wabr in the terminal

$ wabr

follow instructions to backup or restore Whatsapp Chats
