Canvas

An app that allows students to search schools, courses at their university and register for them, also allows professors to check the classes they are offering for a specific semester and view a list of students that signed up for their classes.

• Core Functionalities:
  • sign up as a professor or as a student.
  • search for all schools in the university.
  • search for all professors in each school.
  • search for list of courses available.
  • create/remove a class as a professor.
  • register/drop a class as student.
  • view list of courses registered for.

Installation

• Fork and clone this repo
• To run this application, cd into the file directory
  • bundle install
  • run "rails db:migrate"
  • run "rails db:seed"
  • run "rails s"
  • open "localhost:3000" on your browser.
