11/01/2019, the official launch of the new release of the ARC wallet!
Wallet Version 0.12.8.1
From the basic changes:

  • Improved stability and resolved the problem with masternode synchronization failures. Now network operation is impossible without masternodes.
  • Increased block size to 2 MB.
  • New protocol 70208
  • Increased the number of ARC coins needed to launch a masternode to 10,000 ARC.
  • Optimized reward payment procedure for masternodes. Increased masternode profitability.
    As well as many other improvements and changes.

Update the wallets to the new version. You will also need to reinstall the masternodes. Support for old wallets and masternodes will not be provided.

Installing a new wallet version 0.12.8.1

  1. Download the wallet file, place it in the desired folder, for example C: // arc-qt
  2. Run arc-qt.exe, select the working folder (you can leave it by default).
  3. At the request of the Firewall, click - "Allow access."
  4. Wait for the blockchain to load and synchronize with the network.

Updating the old wallet to the new version 0.12.8.1

  1. Download the wallet file, place it in the desired folder, for example C: // arc-qt
  2. Run arc-qt.exe, select the working folder of the old wallet.
  3. At the request of the Firewall, click - "Allow access."
  4. If you nevertheless created the default folder, then close the wallet, copy 3 files from the old working folder to the working folder that was created at startup, namely wallet.dat, arcticcoin.conf, goldminenode.conf.
  5. Rename the arcticcoin.conf file to arc.conf.
  6. Run the wallet again. Wait for the blockchain to load and synchronize with the network.
