I am eventually trying to get all memory addresses to be explicit, so I just want to understand your intended values in this example:

I don't think you would have meant 0x04bca1 + 0x01 resulting in 0x04bca1 for Close Call, as that would conflict with:
0x04bca1 Mutated Type - Common - Pattergo - Number of times fought.

I have just copied all your data into an MD file and am happy for you to just push this attached RAM_MAP.md in and make a PR with what you have here already, because I want you to take credit in your contribution, here's CONTRIBUTING.

Even if you don't feel like pushing it, my CONTRIBUTING guide is not great, or you just want to answer me on that one example, or you have any other feedback, I will respect any decision you proceed with, because I am thankful for all you have done :)

Wow, sorry it's been so long. Lots of stuff IRL and other obligations eating up my time. I've had multiple moments over the last several months where I meant to come back to this.

For the enemy battle ranks, using Pattergo as the example: The RAM address 0x04bca0 is what stores the players best rank when fighting that enemy. The ranks are represented by the values/modifiers 0x00 for Narrow Escape, 0x01 for Close Call, 0x02 for Good Fight, etc. So those are not offsets.

I think I mentioned this before, but there are some things that are labeled the way they are because of the how the RetroAchievements toolkit works. Also, the endianness is a bit strange. For example:

If I change it to 32-Bit view, the time will say 29db0001. 32-Bit BE is 0100db29. It should be 000129db. That's, what, middle endian?

The endianness also affects how we work with pointers:

The repeating/stacking of offsets there is due to it being displayed like this:

The actual pointer is at 0x153244 and should be pointing to 0x0d0038 (technically, 0x060d0038, but we'd ignore the 0x06000000 due to some physical vs virtual RAM stuff that's admittedly a bit lost on me 😆) . We even have this as a disclaimer at the top of every code note page: The RetroAchievements addressing scheme for most systems is to access the system memory at address $00000000, immediately followed by the cartridge memory. As such, the addresses displayed below may not directly correspond to the addresses on the real hardware.

Hopefully I didn't make all this even more confusing.
