CGSpace has long used a custom field called cg.targetaudience to indicate who an information product is intended for, for example "scientists", "policy makers", or "farmers". I see that DCTERMS suggests the use of dcterms.audience for this:
A class of entity for whom the resource is intended or useful.
Is there any interest in having such a field in CG Core? I will suggest that we migrate our non-standard field to dcterms.audience anyways, as we have 21,000 items using it and I think harvesters like Google Scholar might appreciate it.
