Turbidity Reading ERROR ):

This has been a ongoing quagmire stemming from last semester, where we can observe our turbidity readings being very off at certain points during our experiments.

We are the only group in the lab that runs at 10 NTU, so this may be an issue as to why this is occurring.

What happens is that the turbidity readings are constant for some time, and after a specific interval, it shoots up to 1100 NTU, which are values that shouldn't be getting read.

We have tried switching the influent and effluent systems, but that does not look like it had helped.

We spoke to Monroe about this situation, and he as well is a bit puzzled as to what is happening.

We will continue to work on this problem and see what we can do. We are deciding to select this as one of our "challenges" this semester in hopes of getting down to the root of the problem.
