In addition to the dataset provided by the professor, we also trained our network on a dataset from kaggle that contains different classes of elements included in satellite images. This approach helped us to overcome 2 main challenges that we faced when we first tried to solve this problem, the non- rectangular swimming pools and different image sizes. This is a classic semantic segmentation problem on image data.
