The readme and example config files didn't really explain how I am able to configure the SMART data collection interval.
How can I configure this?

Currently I don't know how often it collects the data, but every time it does it will spin up my drives (ie: if it does it ever hour, it's gonna spin up my drives 24 times a day).

What platform is the collector on? How was it deployed?

With the manual install, it is a cron job that runs every 15 minutes.

Deployed on unraid via a docker container. I'll check the crontab and report back.
