This development environment contains both the causality-redux and the react-redux solutions to the redux example Reddit API. You can find this redux sample at Reddit API.

(Please note, this template includes the most advanced technologies and is only compatible with node 8.1.3 or higher.)

Visual Studio Code Is Required

Required Extensions

Installation

  1. git clone https://github.com/AndrewBanks10/reddit-example or download zip.
  2. Go to your command window at the root of causality-redux-react-template and type npm install
  3. From the same command window type npm run build:all
  4. Open the folder reddit-example-master, or whatever you named it, in Visual Studio Code
  5. Make sure you have vscode-chrome-debug and the vscode-eslint extensions installed

Debugging

  • Select the debug button to the left in vscode and select "Debug" from the drop down. Then push the green arrow button next to the dropdown.

Open the file UseRedux.js and set useRedux to true to use the redux solution and false to use the causality-redux solution.
