Fermata Media Player is a free, open source application. It does not collect any personal data.
The application provides voice search capabilities. By default, this feature is disabled and can be enabled by user only. The voice search implementation uses the system SpeechRecognizer. As mentioned in the SpeechRecognizer documentation, it requires the RECORD_AUDIO permission to be granted. The recorded audio is translated to plain text, which is used as the search input, and never stored by the application.
