version 1.8 Released !

This is the eighth Stable Maintenance Release of Metadata Remover tool, it contains very important updates. please upgrade!

Following changes were made since previous release:-

Updated Exiftool to 12.58
Updated FFmpeg to version 6.0
This update Fixes CVE-2022-3341 in bundled ffmpeg component.
Enhanced Metadata cleaning of TIFF files.
Enhanced better Error Handling in python version.
Fixed Audio and torrent metadata not working in Python version.

Linux users are advised to use mat2 from https://0xacab.org/jvoisin/mat2 instead of using this tool.

Please use the signing key given below to verify digital signatures, and please cross verify if the PGP key fingerprint matches with PGP fingerprint posted in my Github profile before using it.

Use Metadata Removal Tool v3.5.0.exe given below.

For Python version :-

step1: uncompress Metadata_Removal_Tool_windows.zip .

step2: copy files which has to be cleaned inside same folder where run.bat is present.

step3: click run.bat and select appropriate option to trash metadata.
