Is PySocks still under maintenance?

I've found that no code has been submitted to PySocks's code repository in the last two years, and there are a lot of issues left unaddressed, so I wonder if PySocks is still being maintained？
I found that there is a similar package python-socks(https://pypi.org/project/python-socks/), now should we replace PySocks with python-socks?
