[Minor] v0.29.2 -- Reworked Bastion & Bug fixes

  • fixed a bug where sometimes Oblivion nuke launch sound wouldn't play
  • Fixed nanite response time impacting nanoregen rate instead of max rate
  • Nanite response time max: 4 -> 5 (80% -> 100%)
  • Fixed oblivion not splitting
  • Commorph: minimum hp: 1 -> 100
  • Flare tac laser reveal time: 26s -> 10s
  • Tac lasers: shield damage mult: 1/2 -> 3/4
  • Added an armor state command, replacing the on-off state on bastion and azimuth.
  • Bastion / Azimuth can now be told to hunkered when finished via initial states.
  • Popup turret ai now respects user input and will stop controlling popup turrets until the state is returned to what it expects.
  • Reworked Bastion into a shielded monstrocity.

Remodels for Longbow, Lurker (glaive), gremlin, Assailant (warrior)

Assailant:
2x mg -> 1x chaingun
gains cloakstrike (+40% dmg)

Longbow:
Changed weapon from 8x missiles to 20 regenerating missiles (similar to barbarian). reload time 7s -> 12s. Damage: 230x8 -> 128x20 (230dps -> 213dps, but larger spread)

Fixed a tooltip crash when selecting units in fog
Fixed custom formations crash when selecting units in fog

Build ranges updated so all constructors and comms can build commander production line

Wasp:
cost: 300 -> 250
Cruise Alt: 80 -> 120
Build radius: 180 -> 400

Pike:
Speed: 4.8 -> 4.5
Acceleration: 0.04 -> 0.035

AA standardized to 10% of damage to land units [backend change]
Flak:
+33% projectiles, spread increased.

Added glancefire AI for preservation purposes [backend]
Striderhub build radius: 300 -> 450
Cleaned up unitdefs to stop engine from complaining [backend]

Firebrand: rearm time down to 4s, spread further and have 33% more projectiles.

Purifier: cost: 6k -> 5,750
HP: 36k -> 37,5k

Assassin: 3x cloakstrike -> 3.2. reload time lowered to 0.9s (from 1.223), damage 300 -> 280

Compatibility notes:

  • This version is compatible with Zero-K v1.9.9.0. Previous versions (0.22.49 and below) have partial compatibility problems.

Gameplay changes:

Unit AI changes:

  • Added UnitAI that helps jumpjet units avoid fall damage.
  • Ravager's unitAI should perform better now.

Unit renames:

  • Welder -> Revolver

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed a slew of typos in unit help text (Thanks bozo)
  • Fixed spammy sounds eating UI sounds.
  • Fixed a bug where puppy could not jump despite being intended to.
  • Fixed a compatibility with base game's ward fire command.
  • Fixed a bug where the tactical nuke submarine's projectile would spawn in terrain.

Balance:

  • Antinuke's energy requirements were reduced.

Backend:

  • Commanders can now dynamically be assigned the SetProjectileTarget command. (Meaning MIRVs for commanders are on the way!)
  • Added Future Wars boxes for Indar and TMA20XR.

Bug fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where Adv Geo explosion was registered as a weapon
  • Tank and Shield factory plates no longer have shield/weapon when orphaned.
  • Lance's unitscript has been reworked using @Thorneel's aimdelay lib.
  • Fixed an error in tank factory's script, spamming invalid returns for blockshot
  • Fixed rejuvenator's tooltip. (Now properly shows it repairs only)
  • Fixed a rare bug in sweepfire.
  • Fixed Duster's missiles not being able to hit anything.
  • Adv geo explosion is more reliable.
  • Rewrote weapondefs_post.

Enhancements:

  • MIRV type weapons have better default behavior
  • Death laser sound is more audible.
  • Added blastwave technology to RTG, Limpet and other units.
  • Cruise missiles now have proper torpedo handling.
  • Added new sound for Grizzly select/move.
  • Ravager now has buffed turret turn rate and jinks assaults.
  • Added antibait to several units.

  • Now has 8 rnd burst.

Hades:

  • Now has burstfire ATA weapon.
  • ATA Damage: 240x2 -> 260x4 (burst)
  • Reload time: 5s
  • Max angle difference is now +-45 degrees.

Divinity:

  • Decreased burst count to 2 bombs. Increased projectiles from 8 to 12.

Waylayer:

  • Now has OKP for mobiles.
  • Damage: 240 -> 280

Bug fixes / Enhancements

  • Fixed singularity rendering. Before all singularities would be erroneously big. Each singularity now has its own ceg as a result. The final animation still needs work, but the system has been improved to allow freer configuration.
  • Added a NOCEG option for cluster munitions.

Balance

Skuttle:

  • Jump Reload: 10s -> 7s
  • Jump height: 240 -> 220

Antinuke:

  • Reload: 6s -> 4s

Placeholder:

  • Can now jump.
