Design Stipend Posting
Democracy.js is a browser-first, zero-knowledge wallet for Ethereum. We are looking for a partial-time, ongoing designer who is interested in web3, usability, and beautiful / delightful interactions. There is an ongoing weekly stipend of 10 DAI to start, plus any normal bounty fees from Gitcoin, with pay increases depending on skill, interest, and assumption of new responsibilities. We know it's not enough to live on, but we hope it allows you to continue evolving your craft alongside ours, and that we create valuable demos and portfolios as a jumping off point to your next career. As we attract more grant funding, we'll decide as a group on funding allocation.
We have friendly chatter on gitter, enjoy pair programming / designing, and welcome learning together.
Our main needs for a designer over the next year are:
- Completing our ZK transfer page (including mobile version, dark mode) currently at https://zk-transfer.netlify.com
- Design corresponding pages for ZK token management and trading
- Design a page for our public Whisper node, so users can try out private messaging interactively
- Design a main page at https://democracy.js.org
- Visualize our typed transform pipeline, which in ASCII art currently looks like [1]
- Work with our React developer
