PHP Version Manager For Ubuntu

Installation

To install the tool, you can run the following commands:

curl -o- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ArdaGnsrn/pvm-ubuntu/master/install.sh | sudo bash
wget -qO- https://raw.githubusercontent.com/ArdaGnsrn/pvm-ubuntu/master/install.sh | sudo bash

Usage

To use the tool, you can run the following commands:

$ pvm list
Available PHP versions:
    7.3
    7.4
  * 8.2
  
$ pvm install 8.1
PHP version 8.1 is installed.
You can use it by running 'pvm use 8.1'.

$ pvm use 8.1
Now using PHP version 8.1.

$ php -v
PHP 8.1.27 (cli) (built: Dec 21 2023 20:19:54) (NTS)
Copyright (c) The PHP Group
Zend Engine v4.1.27, Copyright (c) Zend Technologies
    with Zend OPcache v8.1.27, Copyright (c), by Zend Technologies

$ pvm uninstall 8.1
PHP version 8.1 is uninstalled.
