ADR #6: Backend framework

Backend framework

Status

Accepted

Context

We need a backend framework in order it to execute our application when deployed.

Decision

We have chosen Node.js as the server-side framework.

Consequences

We have to learn it from scratch: we have never worked with it. However, we will use it in other courses: SDI, so it will become easier with the time. More in more, without using it, developing this app with plain JS would be a nightmare.
