SCM_MEMBER v1.0.2.0

The Navigator now has hints. Hover over a button to see a helpful hint to the button's function.

Please note, the navigator's '-' button is the delete member button. The 'X' is for cancel edit changes.

You can now delete ALL the history of a selected member. You will be shown a confirmation dialogue. If the member has race-time history, you will be promoted a second time! Answer 'Yes' to delete. 'No' to keep the record. There is no undo.

**IT IS ADVISED TO 'ARCHIVE' YOUR OLD MEMBERS - NOT DELETE THEM. **

(You can store centuries of your club's history in the SwimClubMeet database. All the data you've gathered can be used as analytic data to track your clubs progress across the years. Keep you old members, they remain useful.)

SCM_Member - a support application for the SwimClubMeet eco system.

Delegate club-night tasks. Use this application to have one of your swimming administrators manage your club member's details. Add new members and edit their details.

V1.0.1.0
This update fixes issues in the member's table. Namely NULL values for the Booleans IsArchived, IsActive and IsSwimmer.

Know issues: The navigator's delete button appears not to be working. CTRL+DEL however does.

Work-Around
- Go to member's list view.
- Select a record.
- Make sure you are not in edit mode. Press F2 to exit edit mode. Or click on extreme left column. (This slim grey bar is the record selector.)
- Press CTRL+DEL to delete the member.

Members with data linked to them (contact numbers, nominations, entrant to races, race times, etc.) cannot be deleted. Why? MS SQL forbids you, as this would affect the integrity of the database. Check the 'Is Archived' checkbox to hide the member from view.

Perhaps in a future version I'll re-code the delete button to traverse all the members relationships with other data tables and delete the associated records. And finally delete, forever the member. Generally, this not a good solution. Archiving is better.
