Do you have low mobility or other problems preventing you from inputting stratagems? Do you want to role-play talking to the bridge of your ship? Or can you just not be bothered to remember all the stratagem input codes? Then maybe this is for you.
I'm a big believer in letting people play the way they want to and making games more accessible, while maintaining the developers vision and keeping it fair for everyone. I believe this VoiceAttack profile accomplishes this.
Use your voice "call in eagle cluster bomb" and have it appear in your hand, ready to throw. You called to the bridge and after a short delay they delivered.
You can bind 1-9 keys to specific stratagems "set key 3 to eagle cluster bomb", afterwards when pressing 3 the cluster bomb will appear in your hand. The current way stratagems function hinders variety and experimentation as players need to adapt to new codes. By making stratagem key bindings available while outfitting your helldiver I want to encourage more variety and play.
- Download, install and set up VoiceAttack: https://voiceattack.com/
- Download the profile (right click and Save link as...): Helldivers-2-Profile.vap
- Import the profile in VoiceAttack
- You are now ready to go, but you may want to modify your key binds in game or edit the VoiceAttack profile
The default keys for the profile is CTRL to open stratagem list (Hold and Press will both work) and arrow keys for stratagem input. If you plan on using stratagem key binding, this defaults to number keys 1-9, so you should not have your weapons bound to keys you plan to use. For swithing weapons I like to unbind my weapon keys and use "Change equipment" on Mouse wheel up and down.
You can easily change what keys you use for inputting stratagem codes in game.
