Create a healthcheck in section FSMO FSMO Roles to verify the following conditions:

  1. If the forest isn't a single domain, the infrastructure fsmo should be held by a domain controller that is not a global catalog server
  2. Else, this issue does not affect forests that have a single domain.

Title:
The infrastructure master in the domain pharmax.local should be held by a domain controller that is not a global catalog server

Severity
Error

Date:
6/28/2023 5:13:46 PM

Category:
Configuration

Problem:
The infrastructure master operations master role (also known as flexible single master operations (FSMO) role) in the domain pharmax.local and the global catalog are held by the same domain controller.

Impact:
Group-to-user references in the domain pharmax.local will not be updated when members of a group are renamed or changed within the domain.

Resolution
Transfer the infrastructure master role to a different domain controller that is not a global catalog server or remove the global catalog from domain controller Server-DC-01V.pharmax.local. If domain controller Server-DC-01V.pharmax.local is the only global catalog server in the site, add the global catalog to another domain controller in the site.
