This repository contains R code used to generate a composite trait describing over all mastitis risk given udder and teat conformation in Holstein cows. "Miles-et-al-2021_Risk-Trait-PCA.R" is the script detailing the calculations, "udder-and-teat-traits-for-PCA.csv" and "PCA-risk-traits-only.csv" contain deidentified phenotype data required to run the code
