User Research Findings

Various discovery and research exercises have led to a better understanding of how people think they want to use AskNature, how they actually use AskNature, and how they would like AskNature to evolve.

• In mid-2012 a team fresh to AskNature gathered usage metrics and conducted a series of user studies amongst AskNature’s key audiences.
• Findings from these studies were augmented by a focus session with a group of IDEO employees in spring 2013.
• In summer 2013 two in-person workshops were held in cooperation with a software development firm, Copious, that the AskNature team worked with to help create a set of business and technical requirement documentation in Q3 and Q4 of 2013.
