I'm hoping to use an aubo i5 type robot with a six dimensional force sensor to achieve conductive control, has anyone achieved this?

Not that I'm aware of. Maybe they have their own software that allows it. Definitely not in ROS yet. Until they fix their ROS driver to allow external real-time control (like ServoJ on Universal Robot), I don't see a way to do it.
