The program will generate a biography of a person based on a text file containing copied contents from a FamilySearch census record and on information gathered from FindAGrave.com.
The WikiTreeBiography executable (Full Controller) makes use of both FindAGrave and the census biography creator. All other controllers maintain their own separate uses indicated on the file name. To copy from FamilySearch, click on "Tools" from the desired census records, click Copy to Clipboard, paste it into "FamilySearchDoc.txt", and continue until all census records are pasted into the text document.
Using FamilySearchDoc.txt
Start by emptying the contents of the folder. Go to the census record you want to include, click tools, then copy to clipboard. Paste this information into the text file and press enter. Repeat this process until all copied contents are in the text file.
Options
Change the contents of Options.txt for more customized biography and other features.
- Acknowledgements: While not required, it is appreciated for me to be credited for your use of this program. I understand having this off as it looks a bit too emphasized on smaller biographies.
- False (Default): Turn of acknowledgements
- True: Turn on acknowledgements - Dates: How the date format appears in the biography
- British (Default): nth of month, year ie 12th of February, 2021
