This request is referred to export of IfcReinforingBar but is also applicable for other categories as well.
IFC export of rebar sets from Revit in different IFC viewer doesnt give the best user friendly visualization of the rebar layout/system without using classification or "viewfilters" in the IFC viewer. IFC export from Revit today gives IFCobjects with the same material the same IFC model color, Native IFC will give the user that isolate the IfcReinforcingBar a monocolor wireframe view of the rebars that dont give the user a good visualization of the rebar system. It's hard to see the different rebar sets/groups.
It should be a possibility to override the default IFC model colors for Revit instances based on different parameter. F.ex. Rebar classification or position number.
