General questions

Can you do a backport to [older-minecraft-version]?

Netherite is a 1.16+ feature, and I will only develop for versions still supported by the mod loader.

Can you add support for [other-mod]?

I'm always up for discussion, feel free to join my Discord Server (bottom of the page) and we can have a chat about it.

Can you add [insert_mod_loader] support?

This mod currently supports both Forge and Fabric. Support for other mod loaders is currently not planned.

Can I submit translations?

Sure, you are more than welcome to add new and/or improved translation(s)! Create a 'Fork' of the GitHub repository and add your translation to Common/src/main/resources/assets/advancednetherite/lang/ and submit the translation by creating a 'Pull Request'. It is also possible to send me a pastebin or gist with the translation on Discord (link at the bottom of the page)

Where can I leave suggestions/feature requests?

I would appreciate if you leave suggestions in my Discord Server (bottom of the page). If it's a more technical suggestion/feature request, create an issue on the GitHub issue tracker using the 'Feature Request' template.

Can I repost your mod somewhere else? I will give you credit!

Please do not repost mods. In order to guarantee the safety of users I wish to have full control over the distribution of the mod. Reposting mods hurts both mod author and mod users. For more info see: stopmodreposts.org

How do I craft [insert item from mod]?

Is it possible to disable one of the armor perks?

Yes, this can be done in the common configuration.

Is it possible to change the item properties?

Not by default. This is a planned feature, however.

Huh?! Why is Netherite-Diamond better than Netherite-Emerald?

Diamond ore may be more common than Emerald ore, but there are other ways to create infinite sources of emeralds making them way more common than you may think. Think about: trading, raids, looting chests, etc. No, I'm not going to change this because you don't like doing any of the above.
