Description

Doing the speedrun route I somehow got stuck on a path loop which doesn't know where to take me. The destination is definitely back to Gorgrond, where I was before logging out in the Garrison... but now after a quick trip over to Stormshield the path seems to be stuck wanting me to portal between Stormshield and Stormwind.

APR Version

3.1.8

APR Route

Speedrun

World of Warcraft Flavor

Retail (Default)

Tested with only APR

  • Yes
  • No

Lua Error

n/a

Reproduction Steps

After a temporary break (log out in garrison):

  • fly to stormshield
  • follow route to portal to stormwind
  • follow route to portal to stormshield
  • continue forever

Any additional information?

I've tried to do a clean custom path and switch routes to make it recalculate, but keep getting back to same step.

The easiest way to figure out where you should be is to open your Quest Order List to view the route steps and look at what quest you're supposed to be doing (the yellow colored step is your current step). The transport system is clearly confused in trying to get you where you need to go and you need to step in and just go manually - it's not a perfect system unfortunately. If you can't figure out how to get where you need to go, jump in the discord and we can help there.

Thanks Pahonix. I did figure out where I needed to be, I just thought it would be good to report when it's stuck in spots like this.
