The team is currently working on bringing Kubernetes Version 1.25 GA to AKS.

Any update on when this will be rolled out to EAST-US? We are eagerly waiting for this preview as our application can't run on Ubuntu 18.04. This release is also supposed to bring Ubuntu 22.04.

Updating to the preview version when using calico for network policy is currently broken. See #3315

I am also seeing issues with the dashboard-metrics-scraper (namespace kube-system).

When going to the portal UI, it appears that AKS 1.25 is avialable.

  1. Should this issue be closed accordingly?
  2. What is the best way to be automatically informed about the date a new AKS GA is released? A "Subscribe" feature of this github issue would be useful.
  3. Should the corresponding issue for AKS 1.26 be created?
