Suggested rule change

AKS clusters can be deployed with scale sets or availability sets. Clusters deployed with node pools using scale sets support cluster autoscaling and multiple node pools.

Clusters deployed with scale sets are now the default.

The rule applies to the following:

  • Resource type: Microsoft.ContainerService/managedClusters
