How to remove old version of Azure Functions Core tools #2291

I want to use the latest version of the Azure Functions Core tools and installed the latest version but when running func --version it still shows the previous version.

How do I make sure I can remove the old version and can use the latest version?

Never mind after opening a new host it seems to be fixed. Sorry for the confusion.
