It was announced in the July 2023 community call that this would be GA in the 0.20 release. The release notes make no reference to anything being set as GA.

We're waiting on a backend change to finish deploying before marking types as GA. This didn't happen before yesterday's 0.20.4 release, but it is expected before the end of the week. There should be another release prior to 0.21 that addresses this. |

Is there any update on this? I saw the tag for 0.21 was set, but haven't seen any additional release after 0.20.4. 🤞🏻 maybe 0.21 release will include the custom types as GA? |

0.21 definitely includes the custom types GA. Apologies for the lack of communication on this. The backend change was a little slow to roll out, then there were a couple Bicep changes merged to |
