Will teleport work with ACI? #2
Comments
Hi @bendavis78, |
Hi Steve, We have the container image sitting in ACR of around 2GB and currently we use ACI to run this image on demand. Currently it takes aound 60-90 seconds to start the process. We are hoping once teleport is enabled it will come down to 10seconds. Any ETA on when teleport is coming to ACI and what changes will be required to enable this |
Hi Huzefa. |
Thanks Steve for the reply. Yes I can definitely try AKS but we have already invested heavily in ACI due to its serverless capabilities and would love to see this in ACI. |
ACI will come, so not suggesting you switch everything. Perhaps some prototypes to assure your workloads would run as expected. Then, when ACI support is complete, you’ll be ahead of the game. |
Thanks Steve. Will definitely give AKS a try |
Hi Steve, To try AKS with teleport do we have to set any parameter in AKS cluster or is it by default using teleport to pull containers from ACR. I am planning to do POC of AKS with KEDA to elastic burst containers when messages arrived in queue. |
Hi Steve, Any update on this. Is there any tentative date by when ACI will support project teleport. This is a real game changer for us since we are facing heat due to warm up time of ACI for larger image |
@huzefaqubbawala This repo seems to be defunct. Try here: Azure/acr#418 |
Hi @huzefaqubbawala, We appreciate your feedback and currently do not have an ETA for ACI support. If you have any additional questions/feedback, please do not hesitate to let me know. |
I'm a bit confused on how Teleport works. Will this speed up my ACI deployments? Or is this something that's used as an alternative to ACI?
