Introduction

I am currently an Industrial Construction Electrician who has had a passion for Computer Science and Programming for a very long time, but has unfortunately never had the follow-through to accomplish studying this on a post-secondary level. After accumulating some student debt and seeing it go nowhere, I came to the realization that I am much more suited to studying this at my own pace, and focusing the majority of my time on my career. Since the vast majority of Computer Science related topics are available for free online (such as through free texts, and websites such as edx.org), and since it is not immediately applicable to my career, I saw no reason not to go this route.

This repository is starting as a compilation of my notes on Introductory Java Programming. Uploading this to Github seemed to be a good way to familiarize myself with Git and Github, as well as getting used to markdown and a bit of HTML. As I continue studying this will ideally evolve into a compilation of all my knowledge on various subjects.

My current interests, and bucketlist topics to study, include:

  • Java
  • HTML, CSS, Javascript
  • NodeJS
  • C++
  • Python
  • Embedded Programming

This readme file can be utilised as a table of contents to better access my notes.

All sources I retrieve my information from will be compiled at the bottom of this file, along with links as to where you can access this information as well.

Disclaimer: I am still working on being able to paraphrase properly and rewrite notes in my own words. As such, and because I find it important in general, I have included all my source material.
