Is there a way to move the podcast from one joomla install to a new install?

I would like to retain all the podcast and settings if possible.

Thank you!
Tim

You can copy over the #__podcastmanager* tables from your database and the uploaded media (if they're stored on the local site) without issue. If you're using Podcast Manager 2.1 on Joomla 3.1 or later and are using Joomla's tagging feature, there's data in the #__ucm_content table you'll need to copy over, as well as the tags that data is mapped to in the #__tags table. And you'll also need to copy the content types from the #__content_types table.

It seems to be working but it relaunched all the podcast on itunes as new, is this normal?

Also when i look at the RSS feed it only shows a hand full of them instead of the 150+ launched.

There's a couple of bugs sorted since the last stable release that fixes the number of items being shown. As for the items in iTunes being new, IIRC, the new feed URL param is supposed to tell iTunes that you moved your feed to a new URL and they should be able to update accordingly.

The feed URL did not change to itunes though.

Any ideas?

Off the top of my head, I have nothing. I usually defer to iTunes documentation or support for things like this, that particular issue really sounds like something on their side of things (but if it's a code issue, I'll gladly fix whatever's needed).

For the limited items, you can add &limit=* to your URL and it makes everything show up.
