You should be able to install the CA certificate by double clicking on it. As per proxy configuration, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-a-proxy-server-in-windows-03096c53-0554-4ffe-b6ab-8b1deee8dae1 should help you, especially the "To set up a proxy server connection manually" section. |
Awesome, thanks!

I'm still having trouble figuring out what to put for the IP address of the
proxy. Windows wants the IP address of the server, as well as an optional
port. Thank you for the help.

You should use 127.0.0.1 as ip address and 8100 as port. Edges are still little rough and all this will be made clearer soon. |
Thank you, that worked. I did also have to manually add the certificate via
the computer certificate manager in windows in order to get webpages to
load without an error message. Thank you for your assistance, I look
forward to your progress on this exciting project.

Running Privaxy on Windows does not block any ads and shows 0 for all stats including proxied requests.
