Running Privaxy on Windows does not block any ads and shows 0 for all stats including proxied requests.

You should configure your system to use privaxy: https://github.com/Barre/privaxy#local-system-configuration

You should be able to install the CA certificate by double clicking on it.

As per proxy configuration, https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/use-a-proxy-server-in-windows-03096c53-0554-4ffe-b6ab-8b1deee8dae1 should help you, especially the "To set up a proxy server connection manually" section.

You should use 127.0.0.1 as ip address and 8100 as port.

Edges are still little rough and all this will be made clearer soon.

Hi folks, how do you install the certificate on Windows 11? I see @a-fried-pOtaTO said certificate manager, but I can't figure out what to do step by step. Getting this error

Double clicking is not working for me. Windows asks me to point it to a program that can handle .pem files. Any ideas?

Hm, weird:

  • Saved the *.pem and imported it into the Certificate-Manager
  • Set up Proxy manually to 127.0.0.1:8100

But still get the error shown by @vladinator1000 🤷 What am I missing?
