I'm working on incorporating the BeeHive into a generic setup at the moment, and realised that it would be great if both the 12V and micro-USB were placed on the same side of the board. It would make fitting the main BeeHive board into custom enclosures (which may also host other components) a lot easier. Currently, the board would have to be placed in a tight corner, with the ports far from each other. For an enclosure, that side could then just be completely open or have another large opening so all the cables could exit through a single side too.

@amchagas and I just had a discussion about this issue. This is a good idea which we intent to implement. However, a little trivia sort to say, the initial idea why it is the way it is: FlyPi and BeeHive main boards have exactly the same geometrical parameters so the enclosure from FlyPi can fit BeeHive. Indeed, we haven't been using the enclosure anyway so the idea to change the layout seems good to me. Moreover, we have just discussed that we might want to change the size of the boards and connectors layout as well, to make all the wiring more convenient. Thanks for the suggestion @roaldarbol !
