In order to accept an incursion radio removal, some other gameplay changes need to be added in order to promote the team gathering and actually communicating with each other.

  • A stash contains the uplink in an easily accessible location which all members can see and access
  • This uplink can be used to message all members in the team privately. The person who holds the uplink is capable of this.
    • The uplink can either be an item which adds the uplink component to the user's PDA, or a standalone item. (Both have advantages and disadvantages)
    • The ability to message the team doesn't necessarilly have to be tied to the uplink, it could be a seperate item or implant included with the stash.
  • all incursion members spawn with 15 TC but require the uplink to spend it, which could be in private stashes or inside their inventory.

Compromises can be made as long as something is made that encourages cooperation between incursion members, if you have the contributor role you have access to <#1115525343684599848>, if not then we can discuss in the comments of this issue.

Problems with just giving them a meeting place is that there is still little to encourage/require their teamwork from the get-go and in order to keep the unique team-based element there needs to be either:

  • Easy access to communication
  • Something to push players towards communicating with each other

By having access to an uplink, unlike blood brothers, there is less of a need to communicate with your other members as you get TC and can complete the objective solo anyway. (Blood brothers had easy access to communication added anyway).

Incursion should be stronger than regular traitors but still have challenge focused around the teamworking elements (combined with their harder objectives).
