Current format would expect a literal 'Z' char at end of datetime field value.
private static String DATE_FORMAT = "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSS'Z'";

Correct format would be:
private static String DATE_FORMAT = "yyyy-MM-dd'T'HH:mm:ss.SSSZ";
