Error C2-12828-1 on decrypt menu #17
Comments
I have found that this may be related to the number of games installed. I had 36 games installed to my 32Gb memory card and I was getting the same error. Once I reduced the number of installed games below 30 Mai started working again. Be aware though that it seems the UI will display at max 23 games and does not scroll. So anything above number 23 will not be visible on the screen. |
Any word on this being fixed? I just downloaded all my content from PSN filling up my 64gb card and then this happens to where I can't dump my carts. Especially with the PSTV this sucks as we have access to 2tb of data via USB. |
No idea but I found a work around. Do not dump the game assets and eboot
ast the same time. Do the assets only, then do the eboot only. Do the same
for any dlc or patches. This solved the issue for me

I found a way around it as well, I was told you couldn't have more then 30 or so games which is nonsense. Just enter the menu to decrypt first, any game will do just make sure the cart isn't inserted you want to dump yet. See no need to dump my PSN games as they lose updates etc. Anyhow once you select a game to dump insert your cart you intend to dump and it will show up at the top of the list and dump perfectly. Just tested with Silent Hill, update and DLC dumped and installed perfectly. |
Ooooh, this was a different issue I was referring to. Yea the 30+ issue I
never found a workaround for and never really tested it again so I am
unsure if it got fixed. I just reduced the amount of installed games below
30 and dumped them all then removed them and install the rest and finished.
Bit of a hassle but they were small games so wasn't really a big deal to
do. I normally don't have that many installed at once. I had access to PSN
at the time so I was dumping everything I could get my hands on while we
had access.

As soon as I push circle to enter Extract/decrypt menu, Maidump crashes on my psvita with error C2-12828-1.
I have already tried to rebuild database but it wasn't useful at all.
