We have an exciting plan for the future of AD Bridge and these plans require a change in how we currently do things.  We have decided to fork BeyondTrust AD Bridge Enterprise from BeyondTrust AD Bridge Open solution.

What does this mean?

The changes to the core of BeyondTrust AD Bridge Enterprise will not be synced out to BeyondTrust AD Bridge Open as it has in the past. Instead, BeyondTrust AD Bridge Open will live here - on Github “As Is”.

BeyondTrust AD Bridge Open will change over to the Apache 2.0 license. This will allow us to review/accept pull requests from the community.

For continued updated software, please review the features and support provided in BeyondTrust AD Bridge (formerly PowerBroker Identity Services). https://www.beyondtrust.com/endpoint-privilege-management/active-directory-bridge

BeyondTrust AD Bridge Features:

BeyondTrust AD Bridge centralizes authentication for Unix and Linux environments by extending Active Directory’s Kerberos authentication and single sign-on capabilities to these platforms. By extending Group Policy to non-Windows platforms, BeyondTrust provides centralized configuration management, reducing the risk and complexity of managing a heterogeneous environment.

  • Allow users to leverage their AD credentials to access Unix or Linux systems
  • Attain consistent configuration by extending native group policy management tools to include settings for Unix and Linux
  • Audit several events in real-time – access results through the BeyondTrust console or forward to third-party solutions
  • Transition users from desktops to remote machines or between systems, without requiring them to re-enter credentials Consolidate directories to simplify management of complex environment
