this is not what i was looking for, but if you’re struggling with google sites, a github page will be fine as well!

just fork this repo and set it up to gh pages
i could help with screenshots if you need it
and then you just need to get the rom to your friends and have them use your gh site
no embedding needed

or you could bypass setting it up entirely and just share the standalone html file to you and your friends. download it and open it in your web browser.
