Lighter version of the library without aws-sdk

I'd like to use the library to access DAX from a NodeJs lambda functions. Since the runtime already contains aws-sdk, finding that it's a dependency in your package.json is not very convenient. Especially because the size of the package exceeds the 10 MB that allows the online code edition.

is creating a lighter version without the aws-sdk dependency part of your roadmap?

At the moment we do not use this dax client actively in our stack because it does not fit very well with our new 100% serverless environment. Hence we do not have an active roadmap for this repo currently. Feel free to fork it and make changes as you want :-)
