Unable to update - OTA Password gone?

Hello everyone,
I am trying to upgrade this new NSPanel from 2024.3.2 to 2024.5.3 and I get the following message in the log "ERROR Error auth result: Error: Authentication invalid. Is the password correct?"

Is this a problem with the OTA password (which I never set)? Does anyone possibly know how to reset it without having to pull down the nspanel?

That's probably the case. Since the very early versions of this project, the OTA password is the same as your Wi-Fi password, so when you change your Wi-Fi password, it will fail.
Have you changed your Wi-Fi password recently?

So, are you sure the IP address is pointing to the right device?

Just add this at the customization area in your panel's yaml:

ota:
  password: "YourOtaPassword"

Try using your Wi-Fi password also.

You can also try without a password:

ota:
  password: !remove

If in the end you cannot find the last ota password used, you will have to flash it via serial cable. 😩

Hi @edwardtfn thank you very much for the suggestions, actually moving the one nspanel from one home assistant installation to another and although it was connected to the same WiFi, it could not update it, by entering the OTA password I was able to update it.
