As I've not heard anything from you @pwelter34 I'm assuming you weren't able to find the time to complete your PR. I really want to get these changes out so I've finished the changes here and I think it's all ready to be merged into master and released.

@vertonghenb I don't suppose you're about to give this a quick review and once over? If not no worries, I'll push the release on Monday if I've not heard anything.

Just added the last set of changes. Added multi-select support and I've tidied up all the styling. Now going to merge this is master and sort a release.
