Import entire storage from Boostnote #209
Comments
you can drop all your notes, can't you? The only thing you can't automatically is to transfer specific notes to specific folders, but you can achieve that manually just listing and moving with grep |
Somewhat related to this, is there a method include photos when transferring old notes? I have a lot of notes with screenshots and it’s going to be a nuisance to have to manually implement attaching images. |
Importing files without attachments is a dealbreaker for me. Is there any workaround? |
I second this. I just tried it and it will take an age to manually re-create all the folders and put everything in the correct places. I don't think you can expect people to be OK without the option. "just listing and moving with grep" isn't a good enough response for the majority of people. |
Also, I was using a lot of snippet notes to describe components, tools, or other things... And They don't seem to be imported after I follow the tutorial to move from the old to the new boost note :/ |
Already resolved |
A nice feature to switch from Boostnote to Boost Note would be to allow for transferring of an entire storage folder.
Currently you can only transfer single note with their cson files, but this will be very tedious if you have many notes.
