yeah see thats the problem... you fix one bug, and then another happens on ubuntu anyway. not really much a point of fixing this unless ubuntu fixes their packages for libraspberrypi0

if someone wants to support it on ubuntu, you will have to file a bug report here:

the report is simple:
lintian overrides file is installed in both armhf and arm64 debs and this file does not match. this causes apt to error unless force overwrite is used
/usr/share/lintian/overrides/libraspberrypi0
please add the lintian overrides from armhf to arm64 and vice versa so the files match and update in all ubuntu releases

well someone created the bug report... https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/raspberrypi-userland/+bug/1973285
but they added no information. I added it myself but can't do any testing so if the maintainer asks, someone else will need to answer them

Just an update. The fix for libraspberrypi0 has been released to kinetic and is on its way to jammy.
