We will use this to document the main objectives and aims of reworking the website and associated tools.
- A repository for information about the running/administration of the community.
- Tool for managing recruits as they onboard into the community.
- Mission creation tracking.
- First impression for many in terms of the front page and promotional material.
- AAR Program integration
- Stat tracking from server
The main aim of this project is to simplify and streamline the website as it currently exists. Right now there is the general feeling that the forum "is dead". Should be something that is appealing to a newer generation of Arma players as we more towards A4.
- Easy to maintain in the case that the principle dev no longer being able to support.
- Extensible to suit the needs of the community going forward
- Minimize duplication of process through out all aspects of running and managing the community.
Initially the scope will be to implement a forum 2.0. An 80% solution is better than nothing, and we need to make sure that we have the ability to continue develop into the other aims further down the road. So integrations with a new Mission DB and discord etc will wait for further down the road.
