The PoE Currency Flipper is a mostly automated tool that helps you buy currency from players in trade chat. You then sell said purchased currency on poe.trade for example, to make a profit.
Feel free to use this tool as intended i.e. to assist with purchasing currency in game, however, please request permission for any other use.
To install PoE Currency Flipper:
- Please go to the release page here and download the folder 'PoECurrencyFlipper.zip' from the latest release.
- Unzip the folder and place the resulting unzipped folder in a location of your choosing (e.g. C:\Program Files (x86) or D:\Users\Gazza732\Documents\My Games etc.).
- Launch 'PoE Currency Flipper.exe' as and when you want to use it.
By default the tool is set to use the standalone PoE client 'PathOfExile_x64.exe'. To change this, use the 'Steam' and 'Standalone' buttons in the 'Game Client' section of the GUI.

Here you can use the edit boxes to input the rates that you wish to buy them at. The format of the rates are SellersCurrency:YourChaos. For example, if the Divine orb rate is at 1:4 it means you will pay 4 chaos for each Divine orb. These edit boxes will display what rate it is currently set at. If you want to change one or more rates, change the rate(s) in the edit box(es) to your chosen rate and then click the 'Change Rates' button. This will change the rates and reload the interface.
For posting the message in trade chat channels:
- Input channel you want to start at in 'Start channel' edit box.
- Input channel you want to stop at in 'Stop channel' edit box.
- Press 'Set Channels' button (This will reload the interface).
- Press 'Start Posting' button to start.
- To pause the posting cycle use the shortcut 'Ctrl + p', press again to resume.
** REQUIRES SELLER'S NAME TO BE SET **
To set the seller's name, highlight their name in the game client (without the @ symbol) and then press the shortcut 'Ctrl + n'.
- Selling? - Sends the seller a message asking what currency they have to sell.
- Accept - Sends a message to seller requesting they come to your HO and invites them to your party.
- Whisper - Makes the client the active window with the chat box open for you to send a whisper to the seller.
- Trade - Starts the trade request which opens trade window when the seller accepts the quest.
- Thank Seller - (Used after trading) Sends a thank you message to the seller and removes them from party.
** INVITE AND KICK BUTTONS REQUIRE SELLER'S NAME TO BE SET **
To set the seller's name, highlight their name in the game client (without the @ symbol) and then press the shortcut 'Ctrl + n'.
- Invite - Invites the player to your party ONLY (Doesn't send any message).
- Kick - Kicks the player from your party ONLY (Doesn't send any message).
- AFK - Turns on your AFK mode with the default autoreply message.
- Hideout - Sends your player to your hideout (Only works from town instance or another hideout).
- Steam - Sets the PoE client to be used as the Steam version 'PathOfExile_x64Steam.exe' and then reloads the program.
- Standalone - Sets the PoE client to be used as the Standalone version 'PathOfExile_x64.exe' and then reloads the program.
