Attachment to link

Hey,

I've tried it but I can't seem to get it work.
What I want is to upload a PDF or an image and display the link for the download of that attachment.
Is there a way to do that?

Is this what you're looking for?

Assume you have an attachment field on your table - in my case the User table:

Next add a link component with the URL binding set as follows:
http://localhost:10000{{ Current User.File.0.url }}
Replace localhost:10000 with your domain

The filename will be a random guid however. Not much you can do about that as far as I'm aware (it's the name of the file in the MinIO bucket).

unfortunately no. I have a form with 3 Attachments.
I want to be able to get the link from those files in url fields. Reason is the size of the attachment fields is way too big and I dont want to add the attachment viewer in a table because it would be blowing things out of proportion.

Are you definitely hosting locally? You'll need to replace localhost:10000 if you're on cloud.

Yeah, we're hosting on a docker.

we found a little workaround.
Created an embed component with:
const json = $("Form.Value");
var attachment = json['Item1File'][0]['url'];
return "<a href=" + attachment + ">Item File 1</a>"
