When I released Optimus crashed virtualbox with the laptop and could not move the mouse, I had to turn it off completely, what happens?
Only once has blocked me, but I can go several times in the future.
Thank you, greetings.

Huh? What did you do and what happened? What do you mean by "releasing Optimus"?

Nothing has happened before in the optimus check with any other program but with virtualbox in particular, maybe it happened but it happened and when I was starting virtualbox windows remained caught in the machine and had to shut down because he could not move anything . I think it was bumblebee, but I'm not sure, ask why. Before I had this happen without running optimus.

What is that "optimus check"...? A program in virtualbox? When your mouse is "locked" in the virtual machine you have to press your Host key which is visible on the bottom right corner of the window.

I do not mean that, in 3D Ubuntu virtualbox and ran optimus virtual machine regardless of what outsiders was also blocked.

It's really hard to understand you. Are you running a Ubuntu virtual machine on top of Windows?

But I think that's the least I am running windows in virtualbox on Ubuntu 12.04

Please give some steps to reproduce. I still do not get you.

  1. Start virtualbox on Ubuntu
  2. Windows starts up in the VM
  3. In the VM, a program does a "optimus check"
  4. VM locks up (or Ubuntu locks up?), mouse cursor cannot be moved (or not moved out of the machine?)

...?

  1. I started virtualbox in Ubuntu
  2. Windows was started in the virtual machine
  3. I executed the virtual machine optimus

4 VM crashes as well as outside the virtual machine

Can you elaborate on (3)? What the heck is the "virtual machine optimus"?

I do not speak English and I'm making a huge effort.
Or understand it is: optirun virtualbox? As difficult it is, I think.

Ok, so plain virtualbox works (1, 2) but optirun virtualbox (3, 4) crashes? I don't think that virtualization works with optirun, so if it crashes it is unlucky, but it could be expected.

You could try to run virtualbox directly on display :8 and then use Remote Desktop to access your windows VM.

Okay, so then it is normal to crash if not supported, nothing happens.
Thank you very much for the help :)
